The Communication
It starts with listening to YOU and the needs and desires you have for your new home. Our experienced team is eager to provide the guidance necessary to help you clearly understand what YOU are building so you are confident in your decision to build with us. This involves the professional expertise of your builder (that's us!), our valued trade partners, and our accredited professional designers to create a home of exceptional value and quality. Our goal is for you to enjoy all the accompanying excitement and none of the unwanted stress.
The Design
Our library of over 25 innovative floor plans is the ideal starting point for designing your new home. Our flexible designs can be altered and customized for your lifestyle needs and design tastes. Every plan offers space to gather and entertain, storage and closets to help you stay organized, areas for relaxation and de-stressing, and flexible living space that grows with your family. Our thoughtful floor plans are designed to meet your everyday needs. If we don't have the plan you are looking for, we can develop a custom plan specifically for you.
The Build
Under the watchful eye of your Construction Manager, your home will be built according to Tim O'Brien's Green Building Science Program that assure the highest level of quality and value. Our expertise and attention to detail will give you peace-of-mind in your home's performance. Your Construction Manager is always available to you, especially at the start of each stage of construction. Your Construction Manager will meet with you for a Pre-Construction Orientation, a Pre-Drywall Orientation, and a Pre-Closing Orientation to review each phase of building your home.
Pre-Construction Orientation
- Review and confirm your building plans and selections
- Ask questions and outline the process before digging starts
Pre-Drywall Orientation
- Review components and systems of the home that can't be seen when the finishes are installed
- Highlight energy saving features
- Review of structural and mechanical selections
Pre-Closing Orientation
- Review your completed, professionally cleaned home to ensure every quality standard has been met
- Receive training on the care and maintenance of your new home
- Answers to any questions you may have about the home
The Care
Our relationship doesn't end when your home is complete! Once you move into your new Tim O'Brien Home, we continue to offer support and advice for maintaining your home. Your satisfaction is our passion. Our team will meet with you after 60 days in your new home, and just before your one-year anniversary, to answer questions and to address any adjustments that may be needed.
