Customer Care Specialist - Madison

Position Overview:

  • This position is responsible for performing work with the primary goal of providing the highest quality warranty service at the most cost-effective price.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Participate as an active member of the Production Team by supporting all company initiatives, attending all department meetings and providing constructive insight to the Customer Care Manager.
  • Communicate any recurring warranty issues to Customer Care Manager and provide insight on possible plan changes to resolve issues.
  • Ensure customer satisfaction by working to deliver quality warranty services on a timely basis according to company policies and procedures.
  • Maintain a top-rate customer service attitude.
  • Thoroughly understand all sections and components of the Tim O’Brien Homes Warranty Program and all vendor warranty programs.
  • Ensure that all customer communications occur in a timely and professional manner.
  • Provide emergency warranty service when required to all homebuyers within 24 hours.
  • Develop a professional and ethical relationship with TOH vendors, enforcing Vendor Scope of Work requirements.
  • Ensure all Warranty work is completed and signed-off by homeowner within 21 days of receipt. All Emergency Warranty requests must be completed within 24 hours.
  • Schedule all Warranty repair day appointments on the same day as the 60 day or 11 month review to minimize disruptions to the homeowner.

Core Competencies/Required Skills and Abilities:

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and with a team.
  • Ability to read and comprehend detailed construction blueprints, specifications, and detailed development drawings.
  • Basic technology skills, including Microsoft Windows, Outlook (email), and experience with a residential production scheduling system.

Required Experience/Education:

  • Experience in a New Homebuilding Environment
  • High School Diploma or equivalent experience.

Other Requirement (e.g. Travel, Physical Demands):

  • Minimal travel required. Employee must own or lease a Truck/SUV and posses a valid driver’s license with insurance coverage.

BIM Manager - Milwaukee or Madison

Our Milwaukee Office is seeking someone to join the design team to help create an in house BIM process to support our building divisions. Candidate must align with the Company Core Values.

Position Overview:

  • To establish and create an in house BIM process to support the companies building divisions.
  • To establish training for internal BIM users.
  • To establish 3D model content to support the estimating/takeoff process linking to the companies back office systems.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support implementation and maintenance of company’s BIM software and hardware.
  • Create, support and implement construction drawing standards to support the BIM process.
  • Create, support and implement content creation for BIM software.
  • Support, maintain and enhance master plans in BIM software.
  • Support process of meeting department goals/deadlines in getting site specific plans created.

Building Information Modeler - Milwaukee or Madison

Our Milwaukee Office is seeking someone to join the design team to create 3D Revit models of all homes and maintain designs to be used for customer approval, actual construction, cost estimate and purchase orders. Candidate must align with the Company Core Values.

Position Overview:

  • Create accurate 3D Revit models of all homes.
  • Create and maintain all models to be used for customer approval, actual construction, cost estimates and purchase orders.
  • Provide monthly maintenance for all base plans in the portfolio and base plan pricing.
  • Provide accurate estimates to price homes as well as establish correct cost estimates for Purchase Orders to verify costs throughout the job cost control system.
  • Provide accuracy and consistency in pricing requests from internal company departments.
  • Support estimating and purchasing department initiatives as they pertain to the company’s back office systems; establish and maintain the database of information needed to optimize current software.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Support processes to meet department goals/deadlines to produce purchase orders, budgets and additional pricing requests for all internal and external customers as requested and per schedule.
  • Support contract bid process; confirm the coordination of documents between the trades/vendors to match database requirements to conduct line item takeoffs.
  • Support the process to create and maintain costs for the company’s home plan portfolio and options per contracts with trades and vendors.
  • Proactive member of the TOH Team; provide insight to the management team in an effort to improve department performance, customer satisfaction and efficiencies.

Requirements:

Selections Coordinator - Milwaukee

Our Milwaukee Office is seeking someone to join the Interior Design team. Candidate must align with the Company Core Values.

Position Overview:

  • Provide support to the Interior Design Department.
  • Provide support with scheduling selection appointments.
  • Provide support with follow up questions and concerns from homeowners or vendors.
  • Provide support with department documentation.
  • Provide support for events held in the Design Studio.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Schedule and Complete Selections Appointment with buyer within 15 days of contract.
  • Record and Submit all selections for approval.
  • Follow up with all customer questions and concerns in regards to selections.
  • Follow up with all vendor questions and concerns about selections.
  • Complete Selections for all Market and Model Homes, record and submit for approval.
  • Participate in design and supply of materials for Design Center.
  • Create and maintain Product and/or Selection Information binders for Design Center. Examples include Overall Selections Binder, Kitchen/Bath Cabinetry tops, Plumbing, Appliances, and whatever binders as deemed necessary.
  • Maintain adequate supply of product literature for Design Center.
  • Technical construction ability to plan efficient construction, price special construction options for sales and to diagnose and resolve field problems.
  • Business sense to promote the good will of Tim O’Brien Homes and to positively impact customer satisfaction at all levels of the sales/construction process.
  • Leadership ability to set and maintain a positive atmosphere within the office.
  • Willingness to work long hours and weekends as required for success.
  • Computer aptitude or willingness to learn to track data in order to constantly improve our operations in all areas.
