The tour will feature 21 homes scattered access five communities in Dane County and will run from June 19 to 28. Homes are open Monday through Friday from 4 p.m. to 8 p.m. and Saturday or Sunday from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m.
The Azalea makes a bold first impression with its distinguished Craftsman elevation and dramatic façade. As you enter, you’re immediately greeted by a soaring two-story Foyer with a large window above the front door to bring natural light into the space. Just off the Front Foyer is an angled-entry Flex Room that can be used in a variety of ways.
The stairs to the Upper and Lower Levels frame the living space, which is highlighted by a two-story Great Room. The focal point of this expansive area is the grand fireplace outlined by large windows and a vaulted ceiling detail with wood beams above. The open-concept layout flows into the gourmet Kitchen, which features a large sink-in island with quartz countertops, additional storage, and a walk-in pantry. The space continues to the Breakfast Nook off the Kitchen, which provides access to the impressive outdoor area. The screened-in porch also has a fireplace and leads out to a composite deck covering an expansive patio below leading to an outdoor wood-burning fire pit.
Secluded in the opposite corner of the home waits the private Homeowner’s Suite with large windows to the backyard and a cathedral ceiling detail. The luxurious en-suite Bathroom includes a free-standing tub, double vanity with makeup counter, and oversized walk-in closet with a stacked washer and dryer. This side of the home also has a Guest Suite complete with its own Full Bathroom. The Rear Foyer features a Powder Room, organizational lockers, a dog wash station, and access to the three-car Garage.
Lastly, the Upper Level has a Loft at the top of the stairs with views to the vast Great Room below. The three additional Bedrooms are located on this level, along with an additional Full Bathroom and convenient Laundry Room.
General admission tickets to the Madison Parade of Homes are $15 and can be purchased in advance. MABA is taking extra precautions this year limiting attendees to 10 people per house and 50 in each Parade site.
