Tim O’Brien Homes believes in giving back and participates in numerous outreach programs in the Milwaukee and Madison areas. One of our 7 Core Values is to “Embrace Social Responsibility.”
Since 2011, Tim O'Brien Homes and our Trade Partners have built a home each year in cooperation with the Oconomowoc School District's High School Building Trades 3 Course. The program encourages these students to learn and gain hands-on experience in the building industry. From site survey to framing to final occupancy, students receive work with our trade partners to actively participate in the building of a home. Many students have entered apprenticeships and employment with our trade partners. In the last few years, the program has grown with more and more local School Districts seeing the success of the partnership between Tim O'Brien Homes, OHS, and our Trade Partners.

Fit For A Cause is a wellness program at Tim O’Brien Homes where employees exercise routines are tracked and tallied monthly. Every mile or minute of exercise, Tim O’Brien Homes donates to a chosen local charity: 1 mile = $1.00. Since 2013, we have donated nearly $50,000 to organizations such as: MACC Fund (Midwest Athletes Against Childhood Cancer), Children’s Hospital of Wisconsin NICU Expansion, Operation Finally Home (OFH), and Make-A-Wish Wisconsin.
Tim O’Brien Homes had the honor of participating in Operation Finally Home, a national nonprofit organization that builds mortgage free homes to America’s military heroes and the widows of the fallen. Tim O’Brien Homes, Neumann Companies and our Trade Partners jointly committed to building one of two homes in Wisconsin and donating time and materials to build a new home for U.S. Army Sgt. Drew Wroblewski and his wife Katelyn. Our team members and Trade Partners participated in a number of activities and fund-raisers to support this great cause. In addition, many supporters and donors from Jackson, WI and local suppliers graciously helped support this great cause. Home Dedication Event: Saturday, June 4, 2016.
Kids Building Wisconsin is a non-profit organization that focuses on “hosting a fun, educational community event free of charge to show kids and their families the exciting potential that a career in the construction industry offers.” We participate at the event and provide a fun activity relating to the building industry.
Tim O’Brien Homes participates with Habitat for Humanity in Waukesha County and Dane County in an employee Build Day. The team takes an active role in building a home.
Each Holiday season our team collects toys and donations to provide to local families in need. Our course purpose is to “Positively Impact People’s Lives.”
